This post is for the 10th grade only, here is a quizlet that will help you prepare for a vocabulary test in two weeks.

For the 9th Grade, you will have a vocabulary test on part one of Fahrenheit 451. Although the test will not be until March, I wanted to use a new tool, Quizlet.  This tool will help you learn and also test you.


On the bottom right of the widget you can select flash cards, and have the "Speak It" option pronounce the words for you.

Now would be a great opportunity to break out the Google docs and 'share' me to your document (hint, hint).  To do this - go to Google and login, then select documents, then create document.
When y0u are done- go to the upper right hand corner of the window and click on SHARE.  
The next step is simple, just add my address.

Here is the vocabulary list for tonight's homework.  Please define the words, then use them all in one paragraph:

  2. stinginess
  3. unsullied
  4. synonymous
  5. tyrannical
  6. repertoire
  7. chattles
  8. dispatched
  9. condescended

All of the words are used between chapters 1-3 in To Kill a Mockingbird
